Our hotel in Aups - Le Grand Hôtel

All year round, we open the doors of our hotel, located 300 meters from the center of Aups, for all your stays. You will enjoy the calm of the outskirts of the city and the amenities of the city center. We close our establishment from mid-February to mid-March. Contact the reception, open from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., for more information. We know the region perfectly and we will be happy to offer you itineraries and good addresses according to your desires!

Comfortable and cozy rooms

For your stays as a couple, with friends, alone or with your family, prefer the comfort, charm and coquetry of our 10 rooms and our studio. You can reach your accommodation from noon and you must return it before 10am. All our rooms can accommodate a cot, at an additional cost of € 7.50 per night. Animals are accepted in the rooms for an amount of 10 € per stay.

In our charming hotel in Aups, we offer fully equipped rooms with a warm, pleasant and cozy decoration. You can take advantage of our 2-star services and our catering solutions: half board, full board and breakfast.

The history of our building

The setting is typical and reminds of Provence. Before being a 2-star hotel, this charming building was a coaching inn in the 19th century, then it was transformed into a guesthouse in the 20th century, and finally, into a hotel-restaurant in the 1970s. Le Grand Hôtel d'Aups was a high places of the republican insurrection of 1851. Hostages were held in this emblematic place by the Republicans of the Var. Take a plunge into history by staying at our hotel. Despite the years, our hotel has not lost any of its charm and authenticity. Meet on the shaded terrace, by the four hundred year old plane tree, to appreciate all the calm.

Breakfast

Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast at the Grand Hôtel d'Aups. Every morning between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., we offer a buffet breakfast. Enjoy your breakfast in the cozy dining room or on our charming terrace, shaded by a 400-year-old plane tree.

For groups

Our hotel's proximity to the Verdon Gorges, the typical Provençal villages, and Lake Sainte-Croix makes it an ideal base for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers. Groups of cycle tourists, motorcyclists, hikers, or friends can privatize the entire Grand Hôtel d'Aups. We offer customized and personalized packages that include breakfast, meals, and/or accommodations.

The evening stopover

Do you have a meeting in Aups? Do you need to stopover in Aups during your business trip? Stay in our hotel very close to the city center of Aups. We offer an evening stopover formula (except in July and August). This €74 package includes an overnight stay in one of our comfortable rooms, breakfast and an evening meal with starter, main course and dessert in our restaurant.
